Punk Politics #5

Gun control started in the 1960’s it was not about public safety. It was about racism. It was about the white man trying to keep the blacks in line as they were deeply afraid of the Black Panthers in California. And afraid of MOVE in Philadelphia. Responsible black citizens who aremd themselves in self defense of societal racism was the spark of gun control. The operative word in the argument is control. I’m not on the side of the NRA, I am on the side of the people who should have means to defend themselves in a society where the government beast becomes increasingly unreasonable.
