This was Duane Peter’s first formal band being that Political Crap didn’t really record anything I know of. He came in after the founding vocalist died from an overdose. Besides boasting the master of disaster, the rhythm section was the Godoy twins. They totaled 3 vocalists, 1 of which sounds quite a bit like Joe Strummer. This band was founded after the implosion of Duane’s first band, Exploding Fuck Dolls. These guys were a straight up 77 style punk band with a number of songs about skating. Maty’s Corner Issue # 6 Skate Rock San Jose- Steve Caballero and The Faction The first incarnation of The Faction were Steve Caballero, Gavin O’Brien, Craig Bosch, and Russ Wright. This lineup only lasted through a couple of practices when Craig Bosch left to join local punk band The Unaware. Bosch was replaced by Adam Segal who also became the band’s de facto manager.
